These Terms of Service govern the use of the Maid in Maryland website and all cleaning services provided by K&F Imports LLC throughout Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia.

9. Cleaning Services Provided
Services may include residential cleaning, Airbnb turnovers, vacation rental cleaning, recurring maintenance cleaning, commercial janitorial services, move-in / move-out cleaning, and related cleaning services.
Services are limited to standard non-hazardous cleaning unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Company does not guarantee stain removal, restoration work, mold remediation, or repair services.
10. Recurring Service Agreements
Clients enrolled in recurring weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly services authorize automatic scheduling and billing until canceled.
Service pricing may change based on property condition, buildup, frequency adjustments, or scope changes with reasonable notice provided.
11. Property Access & Conditions
Clients are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property during scheduled appointments.
If access is delayed, denied, unsafe, or restricted, service fees or cancellation charges may still apply.
12. Client Disclosure Requirements
Clients must disclose any known hazards, including pests, mold, biohazards, structural concerns, dangerous conditions, or chemical sensitivities before service.
Failure to disclose hazardous conditions releases the Company from related liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Cleaning Products & Allergy Disclaimer
Cleaning products used may contain detergents, disinfectants, fragrances, and industrial-grade cleaning chemicals.
Maid in Maryland is not responsible for allergic reactions, sensitivities, respiratory irritation, or reactions related to cleaning products used during service.
Eco-friendly or fragrance-free products are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed to in writing.
14. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods may include credit cards, debit cards, Stripe, cash, or approved digital payment platforms.
Late payments, fraudulent disputes, or chargebacks may result in collections, legal recovery actions, and suspension of future services.
15. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before scheduled service may qualify for a full or partial refund depending on preparation and operational costs.
Cancellations within 24 hours of service may be subject to fees of up to 50% of the scheduled service amount.
Missed appointments or no-shows may be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service fee.
16. Damage Claims
Any damage claims or concerns must be reported within 48 hours of service completion with reasonable supporting documentation.
The Company reserves the right to inspect, repair, replace, or refund at its discretion up to the total value of the service provided.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Maryland law, Maid in Maryland’s liability is limited to direct damages caused solely by proven negligence.
The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from use of the website or services.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Maid in Maryland makes no guarantees regarding uninterrupted website access, availability, specific cleaning outcomes, or suitability for particular purposes.
19. Employees & Subcontractors
The Company may use employees, independent contractors, or subcontractors to perform cleaning services.
All authorized personnel performing services are considered representatives of the Company.
20. Force Majeure
Maid in Maryland shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or inability to perform services caused by events beyond reasonable control, including weather, illness, transportation issues, emergencies, utility failures, labor shortages, or government restrictions.
21. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
Both parties agree to attempt informal resolution before initiating formal legal proceedings, mediation, or arbitration where applicable.
Legal venue shall be located within Maryland unless otherwise required by law.
22. Changes to Terms
Maid in Maryland reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of the website or services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service constitute the complete agreement between the Client and Maid in Maryland and supersede all prior communications, estimates, discussions, or agreements.
