Liability Waiver
By booking or receiving services from Maid in Maryland (K&F Imports LLC), you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Liability Waiver.
1. Assumption of Risk
By allowing Maid in Maryland personnel access to your property, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with cleaning activities, including but not limited to accidental damage, surface wear, water exposure, slip hazards, chemical exposure, and movement of personal property.
2. Pre-Existing Conditions
The Company is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to weakened materials, loose fixtures, unstable furniture, old stains, prior repairs, or structural defects not visible or disclosed before service.
3. Property Condition Responsibility
Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that all items, surfaces, and fixtures are safe, stable, and suitable for cleaning. The Company assumes no liability for damage caused by fragile, improperly installed, or deteriorated materials.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maid in Maryland and K&F Imports LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
5. Damage Reporting Requirement
Any alleged damage must be reported within 48 hours of service completion. Failure to report within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of service as completed without defect or damage.
6. Cleaning Products & Chemical Exposure
Clients acknowledge that cleaning services may involve the use of disinfectants, detergents, and chemical-based products. The Company is not liable for allergic reactions, sensitivities, respiratory issues, or chemical-related discomfort unless previously disclosed and agreed in writing.
7. Access & Safety Conditions
The Company is not liable for incidents occurring due to unsafe access conditions, including slippery floors, cluttered spaces, pets, or unsecured environments. Clients must ensure safe entry and working conditions.
8. Valuables & Personal Property
Clients are responsible for securing or removing valuables, fragile items, cash, jewelry, electronics, and sentimental items prior to service. The Company is not responsible for loss or damage to unsecured belongings.
9. Third-Party Items & Fixtures
The Company is not responsible for damage to third-party installed items such as appliances, plumbing fixtures, wall mounts, or flooring installed by others.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maid in Maryland, K&F Imports LLC, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of services or violation of this waiver.
11. Voluntary Agreement
By booking, scheduling, or allowing service to proceed, you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to this Liability Waiver.
12. Governing Law
This Waiver is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes shall be resolved in Maryland courts unless otherwise required by law.
